Private tutor in Fort Lauderdale, FL

Education

Graduated with a Bachelors degree in Biology from Georgia Southern University Completed a Post Baccalaureate program in education from Urbana University

Experience

I would like to become a tutor because I want to help students enhance their mastery of concepts and academic skills in math, science, reading, and writing. Academics have always been one of my strong suits, and good grades come easy to me. However, not everyone is as strong in that area, some people are better at theater, or music, or sports. I want to help every kid get the chance to have a successful future and excel in school, even if that area is a struggle to them at first which is also one of the many reasons I decided to become a teacher. I have experience tutoring first grade students in the areas of math and reading. I also have experience-teaching students in a classroom setting, as I am a middle school science teacher. After I finished undergraduate while studying to become a full time teacher I substitute taught for grades k-8.
