I'm a tutor who is based out of Miami, Florida, where I enjoy watching sports, going to the beach, and reading when I'm not in the classroom working with students. I'm originally from Ohio, but moved to Florida to begin law school at the University of Miami, where I received a full ride scholarship because of my strong LSAT score. As my educational background suggests, I'm able to work with students on the LSAT and other graduate test preparation. I have a solid amount of experience working as both a teacher and a tutor. I've worked with young people on their ACT and SAT preparation as well as adult learners in a variety of instances. I also have experience teaching English to non-native speakers who are hoping to pass their citizenship test in the United States. Besides this, I've instructed youth workshops and public speaking seminars for a youth leadership organization I belong to. I absolutely love helping my students finally have a breakthrough in a subject area that they've been struggling with. I help facilitate improvement by focusing on my students' specific areas of weakness and then providing individualized lesson plans to help address those problem areas. I strive to ensure that each of my students leaves our sessions together having made the best use of their time, and learning the most material possible.
