EducationUniversity of Pennsylvania - BA, Psychology
ExperienceI went to the University of Pennsylvania earning my bachelor's degree in psychology. I was also on the pre-health path. I began tutoring as a high school student, and then continued tutoring on campus as an undergraduate. In the campus tutoring center, I assisted graduate level students and undergraduates with physics, and chemistry one and two. I've also tutored as a volunteer in middle schools to help students having difficulty learning statistics and geometry. I can help students learn physics, chemistry, organic chemistry, pre-calculus, trigonometry, geometry, and elementary math, along with any portion of the MCAT. Chemistry is my favorite subject to tutor. I encourage my students to work hard, and I explain concepts in simple ways to make them easier to understand. I then guide my student along the way, filling in information when I can, to help the student achieve success. With each student, I stay attuned to their needs. I'm also easy to get along with, provide motivation, patient, and a strong communicator, all qualities a good tutor should have to create a comfortable learning environment where students can learn effectively and efficiently. In my free time, I like to get on my bike, sing, choreograph and dance, arrange music, and watch a comedy with friends.
