Hi, I'm Amber. I am available to tutor in English, math, test preparation, and writing. I have degrees in Literature and Psychology from West Chester University of Pennsylvania. My teaching experience includes eight years of experience teaching English at the high school level. I have also been tutoring in math for two years. I can tutor in a number of subjects related to English, like reading, writing, essay help, phonics, literature, grammar, and even college essays. I am also available to help tutor students in study skills and organization, which can be a hindrance to any student.My tutoring style includes figuring out what areas a student is struggling in and why, observing them to understand their personalities, and then developing a lesson plan that is tailored to their needs. I also make it a point to speak with my students parents to go over past educational experiences and make a plan that will be fun for the student while promoting their academic success.
