Hi, I'm Evan, and I am available to tutor in many subjects. I tutor in any level of Spanish, clarinet, English (including writing, reading, test prep, literature, grammar, and essay editing), Japanese, and public speaking. I enjoy tutoring ESL or foreign languages the most because I am passionate about learning languages. I am fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese. I have also studied Japanese, German, Brazilian Sign Language, and Italian. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics and I am certified to teach English as a second language. I have taught ESL in Brazil and also through Skype. If you need help learning a language or simply want to brush up on your skills, I am here to help.My tutoring style involves being friendly, but maintaining structure. I am well organized and make sure to plan backup activities in the event that a student doesn't respond to an individual activity. I also understand that each student learns differently. I have familiarized myself with many different teaching strategies and styles to serve each client. I look forward to helping future clients learn in an engaging and structured environment. When I am not tutoring, you can find me unicycling, juggling, and gaming. I specifically enjoy Japanese role-playing games.
