I attended the University of Dayton and earned a bachelor's degree in psychology and women's studies, graduating with honors and in the Chaminade Scholars program in 2014. I attended Mount Notre Dame high school in Cincinnati before that and took multiple AP courses while I was there. I graduated in 2010 after holding multiple leadership positions.

Experience

I love tutoring and helping support education! I have been tutoring for over five years and I very much enjoy helping students learn. Watching new connections get made, especially over challenging material, is a motivating and encouraging experience. I have lots of previous experience, including leading small groups, one on one tutoring, lesson plan creation, multi-modal learning, evaluation of progress, and freelance tutoring. I have taken all the classes I am listed for. I scored a composite of 2070 on the SAT and have scored multiple 5's on AP tests.

I like hiking, art, music, literature, and I am strongly invested in holistic learning (supporting organizational skills and time management alongside teaching the material). I appreciate interdisciplinary learning and try to incorporate current events and historical references into whatever material we may be learning. I think it's important to engage students and their interests into whatever course material we are learning.
