I am currently a certified Music Teacher with Broward Public Schools. I enjoy sharing music with my 600 children during the year. I have served as pianist/organist for several church and community choirs throughout South Florida. I have taught private and Community School piano classes. I have taught piano to 6-82 year olds. I have directed children and adult choirs. I am certified in ORFF Music instruction.I am also certified in Primary Ed. I am trained and have taught using the A.L.L. and FUNdations Reading programs. I have often combined music with reading to assist my students with difficulties. I have taught Reading and math groups during school, as well as after school and Saturday camps. I have always seen great improvement in my reading students

Hobbies
I love to see their reactions when students learn or understand something they didn't before, such as playing a piece of music, or reading and comprehending better than before. I love sharing how contemporary music has roots in Classical music. The Piano Guys are a great example of fusing classical with pop music.
